Description

"The Rattasaurs are a family of animals native to planet Aar'k, the desert/jungle homeworld of the Rakky'li. They are comparable to planet Earth's rodentia in many ways; they are small and often disease-ridden omnivores that will attempt to eat anything that they can get their stubbly little arms on.

Common Rattasaur (Rattasaurus vulgaris)
Rattasauridae
The Common Rattasaur is native to Aar'k's northern plains regions, but has since been exported across the planet and even the galaxy on ships. This animal is comparable to the brown rat, Rattus norvegicus, in its eating habits.

Grey Wolfrat (Caniratta horridus)
Vergrandilupidae
The Grey Wolfrat is a voracious predator native to the Antarctic rainforest of Aar'k. Large for a rattasaur, this three-foot carnivore stalks the forest floor, chasing down anything that moves and ripping it to shreds with its beak and toothlike skull protrusions.

Egg-Tusker (Avarubestiolla ovivoro)
Avarubestiollidae
The avarubestiollids are all highly specialized to get at a certain food source, and the Egg-Tusker is no different. The Egg-Tusker uses its long, three-pronged lower beak to crack the shells of other animals' eggs and swallow the insides. MaleEgg-Tuskers are decorated with bright yellow and pink fur to display to the more bland tan females.

Battasaur (Mordaxapteryx alba)
Teramordaxidae
The Battasaur is a nocturnal scavenger, one of the few hardy animals that lives on Aar'k's near-boiling equator. The animal sleeps in an underground burrow during the day, and comes out at night to use its sonar-emitting nose to hunt for insects and carrion."
